In the meantime, I posted a set on my flickr account that diagrams how I sewed together the fabric blocks pictured below. The original instructions were okay, but I found an easier way to get the cube together. The squares are 4.5" X 4.5" and there are six total to a cube. You need to make sure you mark on the wrong side of each block a 1/4" outline so that you can sew the seams and stop correctly at each corner. Without the marks, it was hard to judge when to stop and my blocks became difficult to align later in the assembly process, not to mention the corners became wonky when I turned the block inside out.
All the sewing is done with the right-sides facing one another and the wrong side facing you.
